Cyberbohemia - Living picture

The living picture art installation on Cyberbohemia.
The goal of the project was to use virtual world methods to bring a painting to life. We made a 3D model of Rainer Huebner's painting "Fliegende Welt II" and celebrated the OSG4B birthday party on 23.07.2011 "inside" the painting. Also, a exhibition of Rainer Huebner's paintings took place in the installation.
About 30-35 people, represented by their Avatars, came from all over the world to celebrate together. From the viewpoint, the 3D model looks nearly like the original painting, and it was great fun to see Avatars dancing on the village center, bringing the picture to life.
