What a horrible olympics. I feel awful for all the athletes- Khorkina of course, but also Elise Ray.

If you listen to commentary from BBC and from NBC youll notice how much more judgemental the US commentators are. Its embarrasing for me as an American I think

@fr3ckles yes i agree. khorkina was so much taller than the other gymnasts. the vault being to low makes a big difference in her performance especially.

The coaches were trying so hard to give their athletes advice on how to make their vaults better, and then later they find out the horse was set at the wrong height, what a shame on people in charge of that.

love Victoria's bars, beam, and floor music :-) she's so stylish. And don't get me wrong, I think Ray's style is very pretty, I just think it may have been more interesting to focus on some of the other, perhaps lesser-known gymnasts, who had more legitimate shot of winning this particular competition. But if Ray had higher difficulty on floor and vault, who knows? Her bars and beam were pretty stylish and difficult.
