I am on board the East Rail Line MLR EMU (4M8T) car number 205. This motor car has really loud and great motor sound like 2112.

Recording location in part 2 is Sha Tin to Tai Po Market Station. Due to the video time limit at YouTube, some parts without accelerating motor sound are cut. Please watch part 1 first with recording location from East Tsim Sha Tsui - Tai Wai Station.

  • Is are great video!

    I like!

  • WOW! O_O Nice ride!

I'm just amazed at the length of this train. ^_^

Everytime I see a train video, I ALWAYS wonder is the lucky one in the 'Hot Seat' Male or Female? ^_^

Also. to ride from one end of the route to the other...what is the trip time? 40 minutes one way is my guess.

It would be really cool to see the tracks up ahead on a train like this...to get a depth of what the train operator sees daily. ^_^

    Great Videos!

  • @KCR58 Normaly they are noisy when accelerating, but when it gets full speed that stops with some shaking

  • No doubt the motor may be even same since they re all originally manufactured in england

  • 預計佢地2031年退後?

  • I don't know the excat motor type but they are built in early 1980s by Metro Cammell with GEC motors.
