I gotta ask you:

If you got Parkinson's, and you had the money, wouldn't you try to help fund the research that could help save your life?

The thing about disease is: you can't know what it's like until you've got it. Most people who don't have disease don't spend thousands of dollars attempting to find cures for it. Personally, I don't have Parkinsons. And I've never donated towards its cause. Does that make me a self-centered jerk-off?

Seriously if you had lets say aids or something and you had the money and you could speak out for people wouldnt you try your hardest to cure it maybe Micheal j fox was meant to get parkinsons maybe he is the cure for it nobody knows i hope he finds his cure

you are totaly right. but that is how we humans most of the time work. if it does not happen to us or someone close to us, often times we don't care.

though I bet if you got Parkisons tomorrow you would appreciate that Michael is traveling the world, having seminars, raising money and talking to politicians, probably something you would not do even if you had Parkisons.

Yes, he is fighting for himself, but he is fighting for others too.

Look, I know this may sound extremely cruel but this guy is just an self-centered jerkoff like Christopher Reeves.

If he didn't get Parkison's he wouldn't be pushing for stem cell research at all. He would instead of used his money for his own personal gain, so why start now when you get Parkinsons?

His intentions are good, but really it's for his own personal gain, because like I said if he didn't get Parkinsons, he wouldn't be up at that convention push for stem cell research.
