  • That clip was from 1997. I don't think they made any. If they did some punk kid would superglue the lock and you would have a ruined bike stuck to some railings.

    ALmax chains are way better than Kryptonite. Check out the kryptonite chains being cut in 30 seconds on Youtube.

  • One of the big problems with the way the bike locks is that it doesn't secure the wheels, which are often stolen.

  • you could cut the whole top tube off and still have a stable bike .

  • umm, wont stop me from stealing the wheels, or the seat,

  • Abus Granite are the only ones you can trust - they prevented my £1000 Marin being stolen after the thieve cut the cable off....the abus was impenetrable.

    The prob with this self locking bike is that if you lose the key you have to cut the bike up rather than the lock. Secondly, it is not always the case that you find an object tall enough to secure it too. Thirdly, the wheels need to be protected.
