Just a very short demo of the middle position with the tone rolled back just a bit, just to show it off a bit while we wait for me to write a song to portray it.
Played through a Fender Blues Junior amplifier with Weber signature speaker.
The guitar is stock.

Nice playing and TONE. Is that Weber speaker alnico or ceramic? It sounds sweet like an alnico. It looks like a vintage Jensen speaker.
Thank you.

Very nice playing. I have the exact same guitar. I also have a '69 country gentleman. Yes the 5120 is a great guitar, the 6122 from '69 is a magical guitar, they both sound good but the sound of my vintage Gretsch can't be reproduced. Would love to hear what you sound like on it.

@bangwhistle69 I have 5120 and I have none of those problems you mentioned. My 5120 is pretty much perfect and I think I love it :)

I had a 5120 and it was a complete waste of money. It sounded OK, but three different luthiers were unable to make the neck not SUCK. Cheap wood, terrible frets (some were out of position). The 5120 isn't a Gretsch--it is a cheapo knock-off of one that I can't believe the Gretsch company actually put their logo on. Nice playing on the video, however.

Very Very nice playing. When you have a chance check out Nina Simone's version, she did it with much passion.
