In addition to Cape Kri's emerging reputation as the "fish capital of the world ocean", there are are other opportunities. Island tours can include blue
water mangroves, birds of paradise, and even jellyfish lagoons.
Soon the Sorido Resort will welcome the 46 meter liveaboard MS Papuan Antares, for luxury dive-cruising through the pristine waters of Raja Ampat.
There's a good chance you will see an undescribed
pygmy seahorse or two. But you will have to look close, very close, since their size is about 1/3 of an inch.
However, you won't have such sighting problems with mantas, as evidenced by the "manta parade" footage herein, acquired on just three dives.

Stayed at Sorido Bay in 2007 and the Eco Resort in 2004. Most varied number of corals and fish I've ever seen and mantas as big as stealth bombers so close you could almost touch them. Go visit, you won't regret it!
