@TheCaptainLulz But it highly depends how Jesus used that sentence and in what context it was delivered.
He could've easily been describing a future generation some 2000 plus years ahead of his time! He didn't have to say, "THAT generation shall not pass away". Jesus can say "THIS generation", but in the context of speaking of future time and placement of catastrophic events of Matthew 24 to take place on Earth in the future context, not during his immediate era.
Matthew 24 was Prophecy.

@lunabirdie ...nor does 2nd thessalonians referring to 4:06ish........this tv show is so messed up it's crazy.......whoever put this series together needs to do a serious covenant study & get your ducks in a row 1st !
-
@TheCaptainLulz ..it may also be helpful if you study the 3 words translated "generation" in the new testament..... 1- genos. 2- genea. 3- gennema.
-
@TheCaptainLulz ..you quoted matt. 24:34...as i said.... i was referring to 1st thessalonians....but you are still wrong ...Christ was talking about the "Generation Of Evil"...the family of Satan extends all the way back to Cain. Clearly, the way God uses the phrase, "the Generation of evil," makes it synonymous with the children (or family) of the Devil. It does not refer only to an immediate present family group. The Generation of evil refers to all the seed of the Serpent, throughout Time

@lunabirdie he says "this generation shall not pass away". Hes not talking about you. He meant the people that where in front of him, not some people 2000 years away.

"The Prophet Mohammed pbuh said, 'Shall I tell you something about the Dajjal which no Prophet has ever told his people before me? The Dajjal is one-eyed and will bring with him something which will resemble Paradise and Hell; but that which he calls Paradise will in fact be Hell. I warn you against him as Noah warned his people against him.'"

And by the way Solo. Admitting yourself a sinner is taking responsibility. Read the ten commandments. How is this for responsibility? I am a filthy rag, I deserve hell, I am a thief, a murderer, and an adulterer. I am weak without the most high God. Solo please read Mere Christianity by CS Lewis. It really simplifies Christianity and human nature. I will pray for you.

Hey Solo you should read Mere Christianity
Isn't the Anti-Christ suppose to come out of the European Union?
