On Tuesday, April 22nd, 2008 Ontario Provincial Police alongside other police forces invaded the Mohawk blockade of the Tyendinaga Quarry. The police have made five arrests, and have confiscated vehicles, food, and a barbeque. In solidarity with the Tyendinaga Mohawks, Six Nations in Caledonia established several blockades. Other solidarity actions took place throughout Ontario as supplies and donations were delivered to the blockade. On Tuesday, April 29th, 2008 the OPP announced it will completely withdraw from the Mohawk Territory.
