I want to go to F.I.T for fashion journalism. Is F.I.T one of the best schools for that?

@LolliPapaNadine FIT will give you way more knowledge and internship experience due to it's location in New York and experienced staff.

After F.I. T I went to work for Macys, did a short stint as an ass't buyer & then spent a couple of yrs. as a dept. mgr; first in ladies, then in mens. An apparel supplier offered me a job in their showroom so I split. The money was much better. In the years following I had a couple of businesses I started (non-apparel). Good luck!

I think the Advertising & Marketing Communications program would be for you.
There are courses in Journalism and Fashion Journalism.
There is also a lot of student publications you could work with.

Back in 1973, when I attended, they only offered A.A.S. degrees. I majored in Fashion Buying/ Merchandising. The experience there was great.

Most programs offer a BS degree.
