  • You should come to New York and visit FIT to see for yourself. There have been MANY changes since this video.

  • I think the Advertising & Marketing Communications program would be for you.

There are courses in Journalism and Fashion Journalism.

There is also a lot of student publications you could work with.

    W27

    WFIT

  • Back in 1973, when I attended, they only offered A.A.S. degrees. I majored in Fashion Buying/ Merchandising. The experience there was great.

    What are you doing today?

I think FIT has grown a lot since 1973.

Most programs offer a BS degree.

  • I want to go to F.I.T for fashion journalism. Is F.I.T one of the best schools for that?

  • @LolliPapaNadine FIT will give you way more knowledge and internship experience due to it's location in New York and experienced staff.

  • @cokkinos

After F.I. T I went to work for Macys, did a short stint as an ass't buyer & then spent a couple of yrs. as a dept. mgr; first in ladies, then in mens. An apparel supplier offered me a job in their showroom so I split. The money was much better. In the years following I had a couple of businesses I started (non-apparel). Good luck!
