The multiplayer would have to of had taken place over a stretch of time. The multiplayer started in 1959, and Jack came to Rapture in 1960. So basically about a year's time.

you know what would be cool is if you get to the highest level first you get to play as jack and fight other players or at least get his skin.

Doesn't your multiplayer guy slowly turn into a splicer over time? Cause there are few humans in the game that aren't mutated from using plasmids...
