This is a higher quality (both image and information) of a previous video made, concerning blocks in street fights. Also, CHECK OUT THIS VIDEO TO LEARN how you can TURN YOUR DEFENSE INTO OFFENSE! The blocks demonstrated are derived from boxing and other martial arts, but modified so that they can work in the street against the small and sharp fist. Also, check out how you can turn your defense into offense! This is the second video of the 4-course tutorial which covers: blinking, blocking, countering, and footwork. Stay tuned for the next two soon!

  • Well....there is an issue with the hay maker block....if the puncher is much stronger the momentum of the punch will do some damage won't it? Isn't it better to block a little bit away from the head. Try to "strike" the hay maker with your block instead of using your hands as a helmet? Do you agree? However, if you choose to block like that then of course your hands should be near the head...

  • @kakoru5 hammer fists on the ground?

grab the wrist or more likely his neck, try and get his chest on your chest/

  • how do u defend against a tight in uppercut punch? also how do u defend against wild hammer fist-like punches?

  • Would you suggest using the helmet guard against jabs and straights in a barenuckle street fight?
