Well....there is an issue with the hay maker block....if the puncher is much stronger the momentum of the punch will do some damage won't it? Isn't it better to block a little bit away from the head. Try to "strike" the hay maker with your block instead of using your hands as a helmet? Do you agree? However, if you choose to block like that then of course your hands should be near the head...
