Young seal resting on the beach at SI NY. Was later removed by the riverhead foundation in Long Island .Other Seal Sighting Jan 27..March 11...March 18...march 24...RIVERHEAD update The seal that we brought back last night is a female, she has multiple puncture/bite wounds to its pelvic area on both sides of her body and also multiple seal pox lesions. She is very thin, weighs less than 14 kg and also has some respiratory issues. Her blood values indicated a mild dehydration and a slight anemia. She is currently on antibiotics and we are giving her fluids.
i've lived on staten island all 22 years of my life and i have never seen a seal on the beach!! my mind is blown right now!! so awesome!!!

@caramel11899 Hey Thanks for watching . Ive lived on S.I. all my life and this is only the 2nd seal i ve ever seen in person . If you take up regular beachcombing you might be surprised at some of the wonderful things youll find.
