We asked the boys from One Direction to visit Africa, to see for themselves how, for thousands of babies, a simple vaccine costing just £5 can mean the difference between life and death. Clearly emotional, Zayn, Louis and Niall weren't prepared for what they saw.

Just make sure that you know this is not about zayn ... I hope that seeing those pour little children and their parents like this breaks your heart. Cause after all those are the one who are suffering. I am glad that pop stars like 1D make this clear to the world that this is f*cked up and that someting has to change ... So please let ur heart break over those kids, not 1D! :)

I'm a mega 1D fan and that really touched my heart. They went in even though they new it was going to be terribly sad. They're not doing this for more publicity. They're doing it to raise awareness about whats happening out there ;(
