I remember being 12 knowing i was gay, and wanting to see this sooo much! forward 24 years later ! and I have, just as touching as i knew it would be!!

@dcat11114u Just consider TV networks broadcast what it believes its audiences will watch and approve. So really, it was AMERICA who was "way too homophobic back then." And not much has changed... not really.

TV networks are way too HOMOPHOBIC back then. Guess if you watch the entire movie in MUTE you couldn't even tell that Aidan and his partner were gay. The most (barely) intimate moment they shared together is when his partner embraces Aidan with one arm as they walked away...it's just laughable . 80's tv shows sucked for gays! It's a SHAME.
