How are you so sure you're god isn't another demon? Do you force the demon out of a person when you do exorcism or do you force evil in to make them think they are better that way?

Hellsbellstolforyou , satanism and Wicca are essentially the same thing. Don't fall for the trap. Actually anything that takes you away from Christ is leading to satanism.

@gdchet I believe. I have faith because of circumstances in my life and personal experience. In the O.T Christ was fortold in hundreds of verses. For the odds for all these to come true in 1 man is trillions to one. Jesus was the ONLY man in history to promise eternal life. That is my hope. Can I offer complete proof? No. Have a look at the shroud of Turin anyway. If what "they" say is true & it's dated to 1300-1400s, how did a perfect negative of a POSITIVE image appear 400 yrs b4 the camera?

@bheadh you seem to just say He is God because he commanded... So basically you believe he is god because he said so. What if I told someone I was a god and in 2000 years time they believed in me being a god surely that would not be true and surely just because he said so isn't a reason to believe, don't you think? Don't you think there is a possibility that you might have the wrong religion? I'm not asking you to say "christianity is wrong." only that you think it's right but don't know.

@bheadh right but you still haven't answered my question. How do you know he is God? Making statements like because he is god is redundant to explaining why you believe he is god. It's like saying to a parent "why is the sky blue?" and getting the answer "because it is blue." This provides no substance or reasoning.

What I meant to write was never mind a demon. I wouldn't even trust something claiming to be God, never mind trust a demon and I never said I was messing with spiritual entities.

@gdchet Yes, I do trust "Father" God. Because He IS GOD. He has COMMANDED that there are no "gods" before HIM. If He can create a universe and come back from the dead, He can protect my soul, if I'm trying to do His will. You said "nevermind a soul"..by messing with spiritual entities that don't care what you "trust" you are opening them up to, and giving them power over your soul. There can only be one true God. All other gods are liars. Prophesy is right "Good will be called evil. evil,good".

@bheadh I didn't trade my immortal soul for it and I wouldn't trust a god with a deal like that never mind a soul. Don't you think that perhaps you're trusting "father god" with your soul and taking him on his word that he's not the real Satan? What if Shiva doesn't like that you worship the Lord before him? How do you know your God is the most powerful and if two were to fight over your soul, how do you know "father god" would win?

@gdchet No "gift" is worth my immortal soul. "You shall have NO other gods before Me". (Ex. chap. 20 vs 3) Or as Jesus himself says to satan, (Mathew 4 vs 10) "Away with you satan, scripture has it: You shall do homage to the Lord your God; Him alone shall you adore". The "gifts" you speak of lead to sin and death. We live in a "culture" of death. The Lord of Life promises eternal life to many. Eternity is a long, long time.

@bheadh Your words have certainly been taken in to account but I'm curious as to how this is doing against god's will when it seems inline with what other gods want. Surely if a god wants to build you up and lift you up then to take that offering is not selfish. To refuse to accept a gift is more offensive in this culture than to accept it and give nothing back.
