In this video I show you how to have multiple Minecraft installations on the same computer. This does work for windows but please try it out on OS X and let me know. This allows you to have one Minecraft instillation filled with mods while having another version which is plain meaning its multiplayer friendly.

** Minecraft.exe Download **

  • im doing what you are saying and everytime i open the launcher thing it closes out right away ???

  • @BMXR111 Well the launcher is surposed to close isntantly, but Minecraft should start afterwards. You should check the code you have made, specificaly the file extensions and the file names.

REMEMBER: No spaces can be used on the folder path. If there is remove the spaces both from the code and the path!

  • @PixelSham Ah good. (not that you made a mistake, that you solved it)

  • @TPArchive haha yeah i had a semi colon instead of just a colon after C

    so i had C; instead of C:

  • @PixelSham Oh good, what was it? (or was it just a typing error or something?)

  • @TPArchive thanks i figured out :)

  • @PixelSham Make sure to run the launcher and not the minecraft.exe thing. Also make sure there are no spaces in any folders leading to the minecraft.exe. For instance, if i had "folder name" it will not work. Change it to something like "folder_name" and see if it works.

  • grr when i open up my launcher it doesnt work..but im doing exactly what you are doing..whats wrong!

  • @comedyclub333 Dumb typing errors and auto correct

  • instillation...LOL
