Nowt wrong with Ull speak You just ave to remember we don't pronounce our H's.

Only the other day I was in St Stephens and said "I ate ow much tahme we'v spent in this lahne, oh I just rhahmed, god that was hullish!" I think it's great. Wer a great city but I still love to rag the place! Hull for the win!

Im from Hull and moved to London, I do get digs about my accent but they love it at the same time, they dont get how im from yorkshire but they try to mimic me but do west/south accent. I say NO (noe lol!) Im from Hull, it has its own accent. The BBC received pronunciation hasnt dynamited away regional (or city) accents and it never will. Love your accent its a part of you, and those who rib you about it, well.. they are jelous they dont have the originality!
I,m from Ull and we do mostly speak like this.....An american friend of mine once said I can talk like Hull people and he said two words..."FUCKKIN ELL"...which for me summed it up perfectly ...its probably the best regional accent for swearing that I ever heard....when southerners swear it sounds a bit limp wristed...but when we swear it sounds fukkin insulting....so all you cunts that dont like it can suck my syphillitic discharge....
