I thought Superman returns was an excellent film, besides the uneven and somewhat nonsensical opening sequences that really hurt the film. When I saw the deleted scenes, I felt there was a better way that the film could have been edited to give the beginning a slower, more meaningful opening than the theatrical cut. Here is my version.

So this is what we should expect from the Bryan Singer Cut.
People say the film was too long, but the missing scenes would've enhanced it so much more, but no dice I guess.

Beautifully done! Why was it not this way in the film?? I desperately hope to see Routh as Superman again one day soon!
