Austin mini with an mg metro engine doing the quarter mile around 75bhp@ flywheel car was in full road trim. If I lost the drivers and rear seats, stereo system and spare wheel and improved reaction times I reckon you could easily knock another second off. Was happy for a first effort
i wasn't gonna run it next year but may still take it, If I do i'm gonna lose some more weight from the car and fit some track tyres to the front, I had major issues getting traction off the line! Need to practice my starts too!
you did pretty well against that bini! is it standard apart from the metro engine? and what was your best time of the day? i'm restoring a mk2 with a 1275 metro engine/carbs and i'm hoping it'll perform as well as yours :p
These were my times from the day, not exactly quick but good practice :D
