The first lesson of the Lithuanian Video Course. The lesson covers the very basics of the Lithuanian language and is organised into three parts. The first part presents the new vocabulary, the second asks you to repeat after the audio and the third part gives you an English phrase and asks you to recall its Lithuanian equivalent. Don't worry if you can't do it the first time. Just keep playing the video over and over until you can easily remember the words. Then say them out loud before the audio does so!

  • @CelestialAura You're welcome.

  • I've been looking around for 'learn Lithuanian' videos, and this one is very much like a real lesson. This really helped me get started! Thank you so much!

  • @justkitten17 No problem. Any time.

  • The "im good and you" and the"not bad thank you" bits were really helpful, trying my hardest to start learning this language but its quite hard to find some free starting points, this was a nice find, Thank you.

  • @Zycloona Prašom.

  • @MissFlowerfly You're welcome. I'm glad you found it useful. Look out for more videos coming out soon.

  • @SadEmoLove090 Prašom!

  • @Bezzzzo Keep trying! It gets easier as you learn more and more words and start to recognise patterns in the language. It also takes some time to get used to a different sound system.

  • @glamournurse I'm glad you found it helpful!

  • @Hitasssss Both spellings are correct. How you spell it will determine how you pronounce it. In this video, the pronunciation indicates that the phrase is in the dative case, which means that the correct spelling for what's being said is in fact Labą dieną.

  • @MultiRoxxete I'm Australian this is really hard :P
