Rather than focus on the traditional Christmas war - whether store greeters say "Merry Christmas" or "Happy Holidays" - Advent Conspiracy wants to promote community service and worship.

you guys have such a stereotypical min set that christians judge people and dont except anyone. Go to Church and they will except yo. Catholics will accept u and wont tell u to 'burn in hell'.

@bitterherbs94 Don't you watch the History channel? clearly on the program "The History of Christmas" Christians could not convert pagans to practice Christianity so Rome mixed pagan belief to coincide with christian teachings to make it easier to convert, so without the pagan celebrations what do you have when it comes to Christmas? Going to church and saying your a sinner, yeah that will go over real well. Pagans worshiped Mythra who was also born on dec. 25. Do some research

actually christians chose pagan holidays to celebrate their holidays because back then catholics were persecuted for celebrating their faith and the only way they could do it was by hiding it in pagan holidays Business! Mankind was my business. The common welfare was my business; charity, mercy, forbearance, and benevolence, were all my business. The dealings of my trade were but a drop of water in the comprehensive ocean of my business!

what a horrible thing to say maybe look into it find a charity that gives more but honestly no offence in saying this those other countries can fend for themselves is hopefully not what you believe because that is not in the slightest a christian mindset

@kaossesshomaru the video wasn't saying to not give any gifts. it was saying to spend less on things that the person might not even like. also, no one is forcing anything on anyone. focus on the real meaning of CHRISTmas. don't put it in the back of your mind. just a thought... i'm not trying to be mean or forceful.

I know i have just about stopped giving to international charities because i don't believe that they are giving what they take in........so i now give to local charities since what money i give them is proven to go to the people that need it.....personally I think these big charities are just fakes....saw a article that showed one major charity only gave 12% of their proceeds to those who it was intended for.... the other countries can fend for themselves.

Great Video, I love giving gifts to my children and grandchildren. If people just don't go "overboard" in their buying and stay within their budget, they can celebrate the birth of Christ without going in debt and enjoy being with their family and friends.
