Im going to be completely fair here..."But none of it even mattered..." would have been accurate even without a terrible ending. IN fact, that's probably true for every game ever made ever.

Mass Effect 3 was released on March 6, and the Extended Cut didn't come out until the end of June - over 3 months later.

The games only Day 1 DLC was Javik in "From Ashes" and that added nothing to the endings...

EA is a stock market leech which lives by buying successful developers and names, just to suck them off before they fade into mediocrity.

It will get worse before it finally collapses. The industry is failing, and it's about time. The only way we can get the quality we used to get years ago is if these big corporations learn that people no longer want to buy their shit unless its worth it. Last year 318 games were released and probably double that for DLCs, companies are struggling to stay afloat, I say let them burn to the ground, so we can finally get quality over quantity.

Maybe it's just me but I would probably call them both out on it. Employees arent mindless drones they're entitled to their opinions, especially artists, but the inability to communicate meaning is the definition of failed art. And the ending by Walters and Hudson is exactly that, they have no business being in lead positions getting over 150k a year for their minimal and horrible contribution to others' hard work.

Imagine being a game tester or level designer, and getting to the final portions of the game and not being able to call out Mac Walters/Casey Hudson for that ending before that game went gold.

I would've been so fucking pissed if I was in that position, and not have been able to do anything about it cus it'd be risking my job.
