"Beatus vir" is scored for cello and contrabass with continuo.

i am in Blues-Rock music - but Vivaldi always been in my heart - also some pianomusic from Scarlatti is for me in the same silent, deep way to the soul.
Thk you for uploading.

@somedaythewave Perhaps pass on your suggestion to the Church administrators? May increase Church attendance! : )

I have heard glori patri in church be butchered so many times...I'd go every day if this guy sang instead.

Before i really discovered his sacred music i thought (sorry to those like my mother who thinks he's pretty good) that Vivaldi was a little overrated. I still don't get into the secular stuff but i am now a confirmed Vivaldi freak nonetheless. (Some might think it incongruous for a non-believer, but i'm an a-theist, not (i hope) a spiritual vacuum. Great music in any case, thankyou!

Quite wonderful, thankyou so much. The video presentation is great, esp. since my Latin's so poor!

It's probably a viola d'amore, actually. It goes too low for a violin.
