My '09 Kawasaki Ninja 250r (sunbeam red). I got it brand new on April 10th. I've put about 5500 miles on it as of this posting. Absolutely love the bike! And it doesn't hurt that it looks sick as hell too! :P

What makes this bike so tight:
Solo seat cowl
Progrip tank pad
Competition Werkes Fender Eliminator
Reflective red rim stripes
Shogun Crash Kit (bar ends, frame sliders, swingarm spools)
Tinted front/rear turn signals (electrical tape)
Zero Gravity Double Bubble windscreen (dark smoke)
Brake light modulator (flashes 7 times then stays on)
Japanese "Ninja" decals w/ others (alpinestars, competition werkes, tapeworks graphics, shogun)

*I'm getting a rearset and new pegs soon from http://cyclecontrol.com/index.php?page=products/rsa and http://fatbikez.com/kawasaki-ninja-black-front-foot-pegs.html

(music is The Hit Crew "Break It Up" and DMX "Ruff Ryders Anthem")

  • @Sungfooo im 6'3"... and ya, to some, i might be "too tall" for the bike. but thats thier opinion, there's no such thing as too tall! if you feel like its the right bike for you, then its the right bike for you. end of story. and tbh, nothing to do with you, but im so sick of people worrying about what they'll look like on a motorcycle. those people should just stay in cars, thats not what riding is about.

  • @kurdi82 read the owners manual... it will literally tell you everything you need to know. including oil changes, check ups, maintenance, etc.

  • how old were u when u started getting into bikes wasd this ur starter bike

  • @jabba12000 i get about 50 mpg with the 250... my guess would be a 600 would get 30-40 (if you're lucky). if gas mileage is a major factor, 250 all da way! if its just an alternate ride like you said, a "weekender", 250 all da way!

  • @juscratchinmaballs

Ha trust me man i have to use high octane gas or race fuel for 450rwhp. Either way 12mpg would be the best i get. Even on low boost i struggle with getting 15mpg. idk what the 600's mpg is but i'm sure its tons better than my car. I just need a fast weekender so i don't have to use my car so much.

  • @jabba12000 theres a diff. between fast and quick... the 250 is hella quick and could probably beat that 425hp car for a quarter mile/ 0-60. but if you want FAST, go with a 600... you seem like you have a bit of exp. and you might outgrow a 250 faster than others. keep in mind, the bigger engine you go with, the more gas you'll consume and the less quick it will be... but it will be faster, like you said you wanted. get the 600!
