French Veil Ban Takes Effect, Women Protest

Veiled women were among a group protesting against the French ban on face covering in public that took effect Monday. Police said at least two were detained, but complained the new law would be tough to enforce. (April 11)

Immigrant Muslims should not complain about this. It is a country apply some laws, take it or leave it and just don't go there. In return, you can ban bikini and other kinds of clothes that is not applying Islam.. I could hear some of you say "but we can't, tourism is important for us", then the only answer is "then shut up".. But, for a native French Citizen, that would be her own problem with freedom.

@DaanyalAhmed Britain is secular: if you have a problem with that then don't live here. If you think 'God's law' is better than man made law, why don't you leave and go and live in a country where Islam is the majority religion? You've already stated that you think we're immoral so you won't be serving us at all; better that you leave now and we can replace you with someone who's going to make a contribution to society; someone who will integrate and assimilate like the Hindus, Sikhs and Jews.

@DaanyalAhmed There's no point in quoting the Bible, we don't live by biblical law we live by secular, man made law - the same law that gives you the right to live here and slag us off! If you want religion we'll give it to you (it won't be Islam) and we'll tear down your mosques and stop you from practicing Islam in the UK. If your allegiance is to Islam then don't live here! Respond to this video... since the bible says women r cursed and they are ment to be subjugated..... islam does not ever say that. read the quraan and it says they are equal. read the teachings of prophet muhammed and yourll see they r equal. lastly your telling me to leave. how bout this.
