@85bigpun "kicked up" is due to air pressure, air being pushed away by the rockets. That happens on Earth. But the moon has no air. No air = no air pressure = no dust kicked up
And it wasnt "10's of thousands." Thats their MAXIMUM thrust. But you dont land at maximum any more than you enter your garage at 100mph. Landing is going SLOW, not fast

if there was any rocket thrusters to slow there decent to the lunar surface.. then at 3:07 in the video of the lem decending to the surface, why is there no dust being kicked up by the thrusters, being that the surface was powdery like he says early in the video and you can clearly see small rocks in the dust on the surface and they dont move one bit and these thrusters kick on 10s of thousands of LB's of thrust!.. come on ppl its time to wake up and see how the americans are lying!
