well according to my 49 years of commercial flying this landing.......................
........to be continue -
I can see thousand of people making flight plan to this airport on Flight Simulator...
-
@dreyes78 yeh yeh tell someone who gives a crap
-
this busts the myth of the difficult landing. the famous video from the other side makes the approach look difficult. alas, this video shows the lack of skill required. so the idiots praising the glorified taxi drivers are doing so needlessly, it is no more difficult than a regular approach and landing.
-
im pretty sure they dont send random pilot to fly there
-
@dreyes78 The fact that they are both narrowbody is where the similarities end they are two very different types of aircraft, that's the point of them, different aircraft for different roles.
-
@MonsterRage A-MA-ZING! I DO!!
-
@PhantomBadass I don't think he meant to say it was EXACTLY the same fuselage(length and everything). He was just trying to show how the 757 is a narrowbody like the 737 because they DO share the SAME fuselage structure. Just, like you stated, the 757 has more length, and a different nose, tail, wings, etc...
-
@505stealth Actually your wrong, the fuselage of the 757-200 is 155 ft 3 inches long and the fuselage length for the 737-800 is 129 ft 6 inches, they are the same in width but they are NOT the same fuselage they are different, the 757-200 has larger wings not just for fuel but to produce more lift because the aircraft is heavier than the 737 becuase it is longer and has seating for up to 228 poeple + crew.

Well to begin with a 757 is not a large aircraft...its the same aircraft ( fuselage) as a 737...but with a big fat wing (for fuel storage),different nose....and too much engine for its purpose. A newer 737- 800 ER or its varients is the way to go.
much respect for the pilots that land there!
