Clay Fighter 63 1/3 - Boogerman VS Kung Pow

Recently for my birthday, I got a device for my computer that has AV plugs in it and connects to a USB port. It is called the Dazzle Video Creator Platinum device, for anyone curious. It comes with software, too. This was one of my first videos using it, of my favorite N64 game. More on the way!

This device had a peculiar effect of delaying any control input by about 1/3 of a second, somehow. It made pulling moves off and recording this video very difficult. Any other video game recording I have done with it on other systems has done the same. Had it been 1:1, this would have looked much different.

Interplay is working on a handheld version supposedly. It's taking forever for them to finish it, but it's a direct reboot of 63 1/3 apparently. I wish they'd just finish it already.

I have so many good memories with this game, it never occurred to me that so many people hated it and that it got bad reviews.

btw, Kung Pow has a lot of moves that seem taken from street fighter, haha.

Well the game in and of itself was a parody. And in actuality, the controls are exactly like Street Fighter. Except for some of the actual hit combos. Those are done by button links that to this day I cannot figure out.

This game got the worse ratings ever. But strangely, I found it a pretty good beat em up. It had ideas ahead of it's time.
