@pkosloski I am not allowed to even manual, as one day I was yelled at, "all wheels on the ground, all four wheels on the ground!" It definitely puts a damper on things. And security has jurisdiction up to two miles off campus and have literally chased friends and I on bikes and Segways. One time a friend was pulled out during the middle of a class after some skating days prior. The security guard said, "I told you I would find you."

@pkosloski I was told I can only use board for transportation. I had a tug of war with one security guard. He said if I did not give up my board I would spend the night in jail. I told him, "well I'm not giving up my board, it's what I do." Fortunately I told him that I would never perform a single trick on campus again and he let me go. Then I come back a year later from study abroad, kickflip a sewercap and then bust a nollie heel and he's all up on me like it was yesterday.

Dude I am so glad this was posted because I for a moment thought my school, Santa Clara University, was the only place with ridiculous security enforcement regarding skating, or as stated, "trick skating." I cannot believe it dude. Like your spot, there are so many longboarders and kids on weird shaped decks from a galaxy far far away. And these cats cannot even roll off a curb. They stop, get off their deck, put the deck onto the street, and get back on to push away.
