No disrespect to Miss Ross, who even Mariah considers a legend, but she just doesn't have the kinda voice that has placed Mariah in the pantheon of supreme voices of all time. Diana Ross is more likely to be compared to Madonna - a living musical legend and a dynamic performer but without the vocal prowess of the musical greats like Whitney, Aretha, Celine, Patti and many more.
