LMS Royal Scot 46115 Scots Guardsman on the Dorset Coast Express at Salisbury on 9th July 2010

A very Rare Outing for LMS Royal Scot 46115 Scots Guardsman to the South of England. RTC (Railway Tourning Comany ) done a Railtour called Dorset Coast Express one of the 8 Tours to Weymouth. This tour orginally started at London Waterloo and head down to Weymouth via Basingstoke, Southampton and Bournemouth. However this tour on the 9th July 2010 it started at Kensington Olympia then head down to Basingstoke then head down to Salisbury where i film it then carry on to Wilton Junction where i live then went 75mph down country to Yeovil Junction for Servicing at Yeovil Railway Centre. Then later on the day, 46115 depart Weymouth for London Waterloo via Bournemouth, Southampton and Basingstoke. At Salisbury, there was some activings, while 46115 was taking on more water and people filming and taking photos. Then two girls came along for photos not a every day thing.

Great Video. I was on that train yesterday. Picker her up at Staines 09:21am and left her at Warterloo 21:30. It was a long, hot day but great one none-the less a fantastic one! I was really surprised to see just how many people turned up to watch this Locomotive go by! I also have a deal of experiance with "twits" too so I gave up trying to get video or photo's. May I post a link to this on my face book profile as it kind of tells the story of my day from another angle?
