  • sorry, i'm new to this, but this is all digital? the pedalboard is separate from the virus?

  • @H75119847 Well, theyre samples from the access stored on some sort of hard drive that you can scroll through. From there, you can adjust filters, LFO's, and occilators with the knobs you see on the board there. So, Im not sure if its all digital or what, but it all sounds good lol. Yes, the Virus is Seperate from the keyboard. Its sittin on top of a piece of wood about the same height as the keyboard, holding it up lol.

  • @UncleWiggler access calls it "virtual analog synthesizer".. that's basically like saying it's digital i think

  • @H75119847 the pedalbord seems to be a Roland midi controller... the virus is mostly analog if I remember correctly

  • @azombiestool Yea, I would send it to the back of my amp through the FX Send/Return if I was to do that.

  • @EmpireEscorts I getcha man. Yeah, PA's and Bass amps/cabs can take alot of dynamics and wattage. So those are the safe road. I like GK. Pretty punchy solid states. I like the backline 600 and its distortion channel. Badass. My buddy has a 700rb.. just clean.. boo.

  • @EmpireEscorts Im not sure about the amp. I dont screw with my amps with anything but guitar and pedals. The virus is a pretty dynamic and extremely uncompressed signal. I blew an entire small PA with 15 inch speakers with the virus alone. If you run the synth into a guitar amp/cab youre risking fuckin up some speakers or wiring. not sure though. The amp may compress it, of course, but thats still alot going into the front end of an amp itself.

  • @azombiestool Yea, just making sure. I wasn't sure if it would sound better/the same running it through my Thunderverb 50 head, the PA, or a bass amp. My bassist actually just got a new Ampeg and has a brand new Gallien as well.

  • @EmpireEscorts haha no not at all. I literally have a block of wood underneath the Virus. I chizzled out a decently wide gap in it so the midi cable and the power supply chords can connect to the PK-5. Add some Velcro, youre ready to go. Simple enough.

  • @azombiestool Would it sound a lot better than running it through my thunderverb 50 head and/or pa system?
