Chen Guangcheng: "Dear Premier Wen, I Finally Escaped"

Human rights activists say a prominent dissident lawyer in China has escaped from house arrest and released a video appealing directly to the central government.

Chen Guangcheng was imprisoned after waging a campaign against forced abortions and was confined to his home once he was released from his four-year jail sentence in 2010.

In a video posted on the internet, Mr Chen made three demands of the Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao, including one to keep his family safe.

i don't trust the western, if we read history, see how this western bullied the asian? when the western robbed, raped, burned and killed the asian, they says nothing about human right, freedom and GOD, but now, the asian no longer weak, the western starts preaching their human right and freedom. The Chinese have no freedom of assembly, their internet censorship is pervasive, they aren't allowed to even type 'democracy.' What this man has done is huge, and it SHOULD receive media attention.
