@WorldTravelA320 Stock versions of those cars, yeah. To make a police car you need the stock car, then the equipment (very expensive) plus shipping, installation time and costs, graphics for the body, etc. It ends up being extremely expensive and time consuming. E7, you pick the items you want and it's delivered to you patrol ready for about the same price with all the benefits it provides over the other brands.
yeah just waht we need is distracted cops on the road..they already drive around breaking the laws with out their seat belts on, and talking on their cell phones,, just add 100 buttons for these guys to play with and look out
@czf21 Yep, and the game is gonna be the closest thing to Mass Production these cars are EVER gonna have. NO Deparment on earth is gionna Plunk Down 250K for ONE car, when they can buy ten Dodge Chargers, New Chevy Caprices, the New Ford Interceptor, or 15 of the last Crown Vics instead. Heck for 250K you can buy a Robinson Helicopter.
This will only sell in the USA.....European. South America. and Asian police dept's will never purchase this insanely expensive gas hog of a vehicle for its peace officers... Yeah it looks cool but does it really do anything better then a Dodge Hemi Charger? And if so does what it does better justify its 2X pricetag? Doubtful on both counts.. Also with the economy the way it is an expensive high performance car like this will be a tough sell to the public come local/state election time..
@OnBakePlatinum We've had an extensive network here in the UK and it's fitted to many traffic patrol cars since the mid 2000s. Works really well and has been invaluable in the fight against insurance dodgers as well as identifying stolen vehicles and vehicles reported to have been involved in the commission of crimes amongst other things.
It looks clumsy
