@keyzitis I understand what your saying but judging and criticizing someone will not stop them from committing suicide.Suicidal people have issue's that they need to work out.The best thing to do for them would be to talk to them &pray for them & be there for them. When I was little,my mother was going threw depression & tried to drown herself at the beach. It was by the grace of God,that shes still here with me today.Try & understand what a person is feeling and what's making them think that way

@fresno93702 To me this song is talking about a friend or a family member who didn't live for God but dies. They are basically saying how they miss that person. The reason why I feel like the person wasn't saved was because in the song they say..."I wish I could have changed your heart", "I'll keep you close in my heart, but I dont know where you are"(meaning..she does not know if he/she went to heaven or hell)I really wish Trinitee would release the lyrics for this song! I would love to read them

Fresno, it sounds to me like it was something like that. Like he just wasn't open to God yet and so she couldnt be with him. Or he chose to leave. We aren't to join to someone that isn't equally yoked (someone who isn't a follower of Christ). It is detrimental to our walk. I don't believe it was suicide like the others suggested because she said "I hope you did what you had to". She wouldn't consider that as an acceptible option.

There's another mix of this song that had a more laidback late-90s Darkchild R&B feel to it. I always thought it sounded more like an album version than this, which is more like a remix.

YES!!!! I LOVE THIS SONG!!! OUT OF ALL OF THEIR SONGS, THIS IS THE ONE I PLAY THE MOST, IT HAS A REAL GOOD MEANING!!!
First of all, I must say that I LOVE Trin-i-tee 5:7--their voices offer my ears an ethereal treat! ... I must echo the sentiments of the other individuals who have posted...I absolutely ADORE this song--it ranks as my favorite on the album "The Kiss." The album also featured many other incredible songs, including "All Of My Life," "Sixteen Again," and "Rescue Me." To be honest, there's not a song on the album I do not like; every joint brings fire! Thanks for posting--praise be to The Father!
