The FMF factory 4.1 system has a 94db level. You can take the insert out and get more sound if you like. Also if you combo it with the FMF header you get like 1.5-2.0 db lower sound. All said an done it's the same if not more quiet then stock.

I have rocket exhaust on same bike. It's much throatier sound. Mine is also a 290 with stage two hot cams though. The sound didn't change too much. It does friking rip though

sounds like a helicopter when you get cam close to exhaust.. i have a 2 stroke YZ250...mine sounds like an angry bumblebee!!
