When ever I waslk up to my cat, she's having fun, or you wake her up in a deep sleep or surprise her, she does this meow-purr with her mouth closed, it's like a rolling short pigeon coo. :D

When my cat Shadow was around, she'd be rolled in her ball (she was a tiny maine coon), and if you walked up to her or went to pet her she'd pop out and practically "coo" at you. It was a beautiful meow. I kind of miss it. My cat bandit does it at times, but hers was the best. @shyfayrie is your cat a maine coon too? Looks like one. (:
