GINNY
Youve got to hide it. Today.

105 - INT. SEVENTH FLOOR CORRIDOR - LATER - DAY

Harry, potions book in hand, follows Ginny past the empty birdcage and down the corridor when she pauses, turns to the wall and shuts her eyes.

GINNY
Take my hand.

106 - INT. ROOM OF REQUIREMENT - SECONDS LATER - DAY

Ginny and Harry materialize.

HARRY
The Room of Requirement

Ginny nods, turns away. Harry follows.

NEW ANGLE - SECONDS LATER

Harry eyes the shelves that tower above him and the odd things they hold: a SMALL CAGE bearing the SKELETON of some long-dead creature. A JAR of QUIVERING EYEBALLS which track him as he passes.

GINNY
Over the years, if someone had a secret, if they wanted to conceal something, this is where they came. Some of these things are almost as old as the castle itself.

HARRY
Who showed you this? First.

GINNY
Fred and George. First Year. I hid Tom Riddles diary here for a time. Wish Id left it

As Ginny drifts off in memory, Harry studies her, then a SCUFFLING SOUND is heard nearby. They turn, look off.

GINNY/HARRY
(at the same time)
What was that?

They turn back, look at each other. Ginny smiles. Then:

NEW ANGLE - BEHIND VANISHING CABINET

Harry and Ginny approach. The SCUFFLING GROWS LOUDER. Harry reaches out, pulls aside the tapestry. Reacts. The cabinet door VIBRATES. Slowly, he opens it and

the BLACK BIRD flies free in a rush of FLAPPING wings.

GINNY
See, you never know what youll find up here.

Harry nods, looks back at the cabinet, mystified.

GINNY (CONTD)
All right. Close your eyes. That way you cant be tempted.

Ginny slips the book from his fingers and starts to back away. She mouths: Closeyoureyes. As she leaves FRAME, CAMERA pushes ever-so-slightly in on Harry. Still. Waiting. For a long moment, there is only silence. Then a shadow gently eclipses Harrys face.

GINNY (CONTD)
Theres something else. Another secret of sorts. One of mine

Ginny leans in then and places her mouth on Harrys.

GINNY (CONTD)
That can stay hidden up here too, if you like.

Harry opens his eyes, watches Ginny back away, then disappear around the corner. He stares at the empty air, blinking, then watches the black bird flutter overhead.

107 - INT. CORRIDOR - LATER - LATE AFTERNOON

Harry, looking a tad dazed, walks aimlessly.

RON (O.S.)
So. Did you and Ginny do it?

Harry jumps, watches Ron appear.

HARRY
What?

RON
You know. Hide the book.

HARRY
Oh. Yeah
---

@tayyylorrrr1234 but one thing is good that they've changed from the book and that is that Ginny and Harry dont breakup in the end of half blood prince so the romance can continue in deathly hallows :D

If you listen, she actually says, "I can stay hidden up here if you like" and walks off to hide, which leads into Ron's quote of" So did you and Ginny do it?" The subtitles are wrong in the movie. We are to assume that Harry ended up finding Ginny and somethign might have happened between the two.

Malfoy put a white bird in the Vanishing cabinet and Borgin sent it back to show that it went through.
