I think everyone here can just simply agree, the 80's and 90's were wonderful for all different types of racing.
Le Mans, F1, all of it.

In Gran Turismo 5, when driving the Mazda 787B with a Driving Force GT, it feels like the car is bumping all over the road on Sarthe. Watching this video, I can see that the game accurately recreates what the drivers went through. The only difference is they somehow found a way to stay on the road, where I can't!

Is it just me or are the nissan's all different?

@emgasu this music is awsome, its a 90s intro, you must be a muslim if your not felling it...
-
whats the music under it ????
I need that :)

The main reason to love old sport cars is the engine sound. Especially now that we have to live with the silent diesels Audis. But then somebody adds stupid music on top of it. WTF?
-
The intro came and I was like fuck yes! Then I typed this, now I'm turning it off.

@123yokomo well a jag and nissan r91cp (called the r92cp but wth :P) are at least!:D
lol i could become annoying about the difference between GT cars and Sportscars / prototypes but I wont :P It was definitely a golden era, although it was close to coming to its end by 1990... Le Mans is so much better than F1 imo :)

F1 and Le mans are completely different!
And i'm sure that you know the fact that F1 in that time (1980's to beggins of 90's) was also fantastic! The Senna/Prost fight was perfect! It's sad because this time will never return.
Sorry for my bad english, im portuguese!
Cheers
