Very helpful tips. Nice voice over work too. Makes the video easy to watch.

But Ill make the turn around space smaller and smaller as I progress

Haha Awesome So I will have to do it 24 or less since Im getting an XR650L

Good tips. The key is: Practice. Every stock motorcycle on the road, no matter how big, should be able to make a 24 ft. U-turn. With enough practice you should be able to do it in less. 18 ft. is not unrealistic, but start out bigger. Find a clean parking lot and practice until the security people ask you to leave (don't ask me how I know about that).

yr like my brother tanx for the video........

i have seen police riders on pan-europeans doing uturns in about 8feet
Hey Crash, If the point is to be able to make a U turn on a standard US roadway, why do they test turning to the right? On the road you'd be riding on the right side and U turning to the left.

@RodMacPherson Honestly? I think it's because it's a bit of an "unnatural act". Most people seem more comfortable with lefts so going for a right makes is more difficult.

Yes, they are sold now as AXO Constructors. I had a special Supermoto sole put on them. Like 'em. (You can get them in brown now too...)

Thanks for the videos!
I have been trying to perform these U-turns on my dads 1400cc Ninja and it is proving to be a little difficult as the bike is really heavy and powerful. And I don't know anyone who will be willing to lend me their bike. My question is: Should I give myself more than 24ft to complete the maneuver? I don't ride that bike on the streets, I am just preparing for whenever I get mine.

24ft would be the standard you would be judged at for licensing. I'd shoot for 24.
