You don't want to spin the fans with the air as it can damage bearings. Best to use a can of compressed air for more control, maybe a qtip to dislodge anything in the heat sink. But avoid leafblowers and carwashes.

I don't usually laugh at stupid videos, but this was hilarious lol

Funny thats how I clean my PC as well lol........

get a gas blower lol

lol nice but you SHOULD NOT blow into the fans, because the bearing isn´t desinged for such high speed.. they may get louder.. but nice method

Now...... without any hesitation, this is the way to clean the machine. iv'e cleaned hundreds of machines just like this, and none have ever been damaged........... Fast, clean, and OUTSIDE !!!!!

you can hear the fans on the CPU cooler and at the back of the case screeching in protest :/

I know. They are not designed to spin.

DO NOT DO THIS!! The filter system on these blowers is not good enough to filter the small fragments in the air. These fragments will pass through the filter and hit the board and components, resulting in damage. Use a compressor instead.

Your concern is purely theoretical. The inlet sits waist-high so it's not low enough to the ground to pick up any particles. Not sure where you live but over here I don't have anything floating up in the air :)
