Since when does the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency care about paralyzed citizens? Keeping trusting your government. Just like Iraq had "weapons of mass destruction" - guise to pass unconstitutional Patriot Act. Just the government told the citizens we needed to pass TARP & the so called economic stimulus - & now the federal government is able to take over private businesses - unconstitutional (communism). And just like we're being told that government must pass socialized medicine.

A very large number of technologies we have available to us right now started out as military technology. It's not a long shot to think maybe this'll one day be available to the public as well. You're just a cynical anti-government "down with the establishment" kind of guy, am I right?

...Yep we should just blindly trust the government and just forget history & human nature - tell that to the Native Americans, the Africans, the Jews, the Armenians, the Russians, the Cambodians, the Chinese, the North Koreans, the Kurds, and anyone else who's been a victim of governments & tyrants. Sounds like your a naive head-in-the-stand learns nothing from world history kind of guy.

"Down w/ the establishment"? Far from it, I'm just a bit more discerning when comes to where the government & these crony politicians are spending my $30,000 per year in income taxes. Gee, if only they were spending money actually curing illness instead of new toys for the military industrial complex market. I'm sure it will be available to the public just not in the way you envision. And while you're at, ignore the fact that Congress gave NORTHCOM exemption from the posse comitatus act.

I urge you all to be aware that these WILL be used to police urban areas, these ARE NOT ment solely for war. Boston Dynamics is contracting with the DHSF. Please do not take the H1N1 there ARE RFID chips in them. We're in a bad place America, and you need to be aware
