Thanks! :D
Luckily my snail seemed to get used to the tank very quickly, on the day of filming it was very active indeed. Spends an equal amount of time sleeping. :P Since filming I purchased a much smaller black one.

I came for the snail and I stayed for the music :)
That's a nice-looking specimen. I just got a few, but they're still adjusting to their new habitat, so they're not nearly as impressively active as this one.

My snail has plants growing from his shell, blue at the tip and wite around the blue. I s this normal since he moves so slowley that algea grows on him?

Interesting, I've never heard of plants like that growing on a shell. But it is common for algae to grow on a snail shell and it does no harm. Might be worth looking into it for clarification on what is actually growing.

@SpiritusWorks Ya, I might put a video of it, he only has thin stem like plats that are very small, mabye a type of algea like plant? I might look into it, but Im not too worried ;)

Probably fine yeah.
Sadly I found out an hour a go that the apple snail in this video, Lloyd, passed away. RIP. ;__;

Great video, thanks for sharing!
I recently got an apple snail as well (George!).
I'm wondering what kind of veggies you feed him and how you prepare them? Do you boil them, blanche them, microwave them?
Thanks!

@TheMyameeGirl
Thanks!
I feed mine green vegetables like lettuce (preferably not iceberg) or cabbage. Blanching is the way to go. You can feed them other things, but those leafy vegetables are best.
