Dance

It's been a month and a half since Kevin, Nick and Joe left for the Burning Up tour. Summer is almost over. I start school in five days. I don't even want to think about it. I'm scared. Really scared. I don't know how I'm gonna react in front of Eric. Has he told anyone that we had sex together? He certainly wouldn't say we raped me. I wouldn't say it either. Something elped me kind of forget about the pain. It's almost gone now. I say almost because I think it will never completely go away. I'm scared for life. Anyways, that other thing that helped me is dance. Dance has always been my passion. I guess I'm kind of talented. But it isn't only pure talent. Maybe 10% of it is. The rest is work and effort. This summer I focused and worked harder than ever. It paid off because for the dance show (witch is today) I'm in five numbers. Jazz, Hip-Hop, Ballet (Pointe work), Tango and a contemporary solo. I'm really happy I got the solo this year. My teachers say I really deserve it more than anyone.




So, THE day as come. From 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM tonight, my dance school will present its annual DanceFest. It's going to be awesome. I'm really nervous though. I always get stomach jitters before a show. It's my tenth dance show and I'm still anxious! Mel, Will, Mom and Frankie are coming. I know that even if they wanted to, Kevin, Nick and Joe can't come because of their busy schedule. I understand, I mean they ARE the Jonas Brothers. But I would have liked them to see what I can do for once. I've gotten so much better during these past few years. The last time they came to one of my show, I think Nick fell asleep. Ha! Ha! I wasn't mad. He sleeps everywhere. I think he was like....eight years old anyways. I can't wait till tonight. I'm sure my Mom is going to be really proud of me. The show is very energetic, so Frankie shouldn't be bored.

I check my phone. I have two texts and a voicemail.

Voicemail: Hellllo Beautiful! Joe and Nick's voice sing. We just wanted to wish you good luck for tonight! Joe says. Yup! You're going to be awesome, I know it! Nick adds. Don't forget to tell Mom to buy the DVD of the show! We'll watch it when we can! Kevin says. Love ya! They all say together, before hanging up.
