I went through the New Warrior Training in 1992. I was so hyped for some months after the training, and then distanced myself and even scoffed at the experience. While this is the closest to any type of contact I've had with the network since, in the last few years I've remembered the weekend with more respect. They do important work, unfortunately, when doing group work, its always a possiblity that you end up with a group of men who you don't click with, or with ineffective facilitators.

Militant homosexuality and a lot of flakes and freaks is what I found in MKP. I think there are good intentions here, but I regret doing the weekend. I didn't meet many "real men".

I bet these were exit interviews from the weekend. Avoid.

I have had many positive experiences in MKP and many troubling ones from poor fascilitation and men in position who were exploitive and manipulative. I think we need work like this but the negative effects need to be understood and not dismissed. And MKP should really be more responsible as to who is qualified to fascilitate such work.

MKP has changed my life. If you are looking to be a great man and live a powerful like. I would very much recommend this weekend. AHO!

I hated my wife, my 3 year old son, my parents, bosses, other men in bars...most of all I hated myself. I hated how I was so angry with the world, how my childhood had wounded me and made me a victim and how I coped was to drink and drug, use prostitutes and rule over my domain with tyrannical power dominating everyone around me. I did the weekend 5 years ago...It saved my marriage, my relationship with my son and most of all helped me to save myself. Im a work in progress...sign up, live life.

Our world needs this work. I recommend this video and the weekend.

I also relate to these men! It is wonderful knowing I can call on the support of my Brothers and I don't have to hide in my shadows and judgements. MKP has helped me save my marriage and give the gift of a more present and awake husband to my wife and a better father to my kids.
Great video both for content and artistic value! Glad to see this promotion of MKP. I attended the New Warrior Training Adventure and it was one of the best gifts that I've ever given myself.

Men loving men. Straight men, gay men, rainbow men. I was always afraid of men. Men stole my woman, competed for my promotion, perpetrated violence. They were all different from me. After the MKP weekend, all that changed. My friendships with men are rich with support, blessing, straight-up humor. I'm still learning. But I love men like I never could before. The New Warrior Training Adventure was the best thing I ever did for myself.
