It doesn’t remove the fact that the Greece named those territories around Solun as ,,Newly occupied territories” and ,,Northern territories ” up until the late 1980.It was also forbidden by the modern Greek State to mention the word Macedonia, or Solun by the native people who called themselves Macedonians(not slavs). All these people which still live there and their relatives refugees from the Balcan and Greek civil war stitll call their cities as Solun ,Lerin ,Voden.
