Just cleaning out my dusty laptop for the first time since I have it. Its about 1.5 years old. Its the Acer Aspire 5715Z..
Its just a simple compressor with compressed air. My compressor is in the garage were my dad's motorcycle is and our tabletennis table as you might have seen.. I did the cleaning on the tabletennis table..

Luckily this is not my gaming rig! I have an Intel i5 750, 4GB DDR3, GT 240, just check other vids =)! This laptop is used for school/college !

  • I'm sorry but this guy does not know what he's doing. The important thing here is to have enough force to blow the dust but not too much that it will break your fan or any other components. An air compressor forces 100 psi out to a nail gun, do you really want that kind of power blowing in your laptop?( off course you can turn down the psi but it's a risk). best is to use the compress air cans they sell for leaning computers. reversing your vacuum to blow out air will work as well.

  • @tundra12555 I know you can f*ck your laptop or pc up but I was very gentle with the air and also I opend the laptop for cleaning (not in video).. For some people this video is like I am blowing air like a crazy man into the laptop but that is not the case ;)

  • where can i buy than blower?

  • @daggertail1000 There are special PC cleaners, compressed air.. You can buy them at your local PC store.. :)

  • @BramRongen thank you sir...i asked out my uncle first and he said my cousin has a compresor(for bike tires and etc) i was wondering if i could use that?

  • @daggertail1000 You can also use that.. Just pay attention to it that you dont blow the air in to fast and in the spinning direction of the fans... ;)

  • Everyone, just for your information. You have to do it in short burst like he was AT SOME POINTS. Don't hold it down there is the risk of breaking your computer. Thumbs up so everyone can see.

  • @BramRongen LoL it clearly says in the description that this one is used for school and is NOT his gaming rig. Illiteracy, the number one cause of death for idiots.

  • @MrFuriousray I'm with you on that! All your doing is blowing the dirt else where. If this is the way you want to do it, maybe have the vacuum suck at one end and the compress air can( not a air compresser) blowing on the other. MAYBE!

  • @daggertail1000 don't use that. go spend a little money on compress air cans you buy at the computer stores( made for cleaning your computers). It's a very cheap price to pay than to have to buy a new lapop because you broke the components or the fan( which warentee won't cover). Reversing a vacuum to blow will work as well but the air compress cans are the best.

  • isnt that make it worst? blowing might just worsen it, especially on that angle?

  • I think this is not a good idea! Why? First: All the dirt from the fan and copper heatsink will come inside the laptop and stick to the other components. Second: The power of compressed air can damage the fan itself. I think it's better just to open and clean with a soft brush and vacuum cleaner dust from adhering to the radiator and fan.

  • you have the same gaming rig setup as me, although i just recently got a GTX275 from the GT240

  • sounds like someone continually sayin sssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • @BramRongen thank you for this information sir, also, as i was doing a little browsing a cotton budds could be used to hold of the fan so it wont spin when air comes
