We caught up w/ long time freedom fighter and longshoreman Clarence Thomas who gave us a serious history lesson on unions and the significance of the West Coast blockade and the sucess of shutting down ports.. He also points out how the media tried to make this about Occupy Movement vs Truckers and not about Occupy Movement vs Big Corporations..

OCCUPIERS! This needs to be shared all across FB and Twitter repeatedly today. There was far too much misinformation by the Main Stream Media put out yesterday concerning the West Coast Port Shut Down, and RIGHT HERE we have such an amazing wealth of REAL INFORMATION that should be saturating the internet on why we did what we did. Don't let the MSM speak for the movement! The revolution will not be televised, but it will be INTERNETIZED! "EGT Can't Scare Me, I'm Working For The Union...."

This was a great watch, all 13 minutes. Clarence Thomas does a great job putting the Occupy movement in the historical context of the labor movement. His analysis highlights the absurdity of characterizing Occupy's December 12th ports action in terms of only the side effects it had on the port workers and the rest of the 99%, as the mainstream media has done.
