@Texarmageddon they changed the look. camaros are not as common on the road as mustangs. everywhere i go there's a mustang. and i don't want to be a guy with another mustang. camaros are unique as they went from looking like a import to something that you wont see everyday. mustangs kept the SAME look for 8 years now. would be good. also the 2013 mustang looks THE SAME. also ford came out with the new look for the mustang in 2005 and 10 years for the mustang is 2015 and the camaro is 2020...

@Texarmageddon and?why weren't you believing me then ?"that's a load of crap" then you know it's true ? mustangs never got a body change but a hp increase. that's about it. i do have a camaro. and i'm happy that i got it instead of a mustang as it always need fixing.and they're everywhere. just because a camaro outsold the mustang for one year doesn't mean anything. from 2002-2009 , mustangs have been the only active pony car until dodge released the challenger in 2008 then camaro in 2010.

@Bravo12RX Yes, and the 2010 Camaro OUTSOLD the 2010 Mustangs. Everyone knows this, because it's been so long since that has happened it made news headlines. I'm starting to think you don't own a Camaro. They haven't looked the same for too long, as they always go a span of 10 years before a definitive body change. The camaro has done this process also. Hence, what are you complaining about? There are obviously MORE new camaros on the road than new mustangs.

@Texarmageddon zo6- 505hp 470ft lb tq , the camaro zl1 - 556ft lb tq. but the more lighter zo6 will be faster with less performance numbers. fourth gen camaros are so ugly, i don't care about them and i hardly even see them anymore. go look up 2010 camaro sales and then 2010 mustang sales. then talk.. mustangs are good , but are everywhere and looked the same for too long. unlike the camaro in which every gen they changed the look.

@Bravo12RX Not even close to Z06 performance... maybe power number wise... but the z06 is way faster.... O and you see more mustangs than a camaro? Really? In the case, of the last generation camaros pre 2002 they sold just as many camaros as mustangs. In the case of the new camaros... THEY SOLD MORE THAN THE 2010 Mustang GT. Hence, I know that's a load of crap.

@Texarmageddon yea , but the camaro is more improved than the zr1's comfort. and has zo6 like performance. camaro is more technological advanced than the 120,000$ zr1. but straight line performance are what most of you care about. mustang may be lighter and perform a little bit better but they are everywhere. when ever i go out i always see a mustang it's like seeing a toyota. i hardly see a camaro. (i own one). zl1's 580hp could be changed a little more with factory parts and have over 638+hp.

@IDontHateOnCars That's strictly a drag build at that point... why even bother mentioning weight distribution... The zl1 can shed weight, but not much to be road legal. MAssive weight loss only comes in a pure race car ...

The zl1 with a 1400 hp TT 383 small block is would dominate. The weight distribution is better than the Shelby and it will hook and grip better and that camaro can also be lightened. I'm waiting to see what kind of horsepower those 351's are going to make, I definitely can't weight to here one.

@Bravo12RX did you know that the 2012 zl1 was suppose to be the 2013? but they made it 12 because of the 2013 gt500 power and handling on a track even Al the chief engineer of the zl1 was disappointed after he heard about the 13 Shelby.. and as for the challenger i love it man the body is a genuine muscle car so even if the challenger ''might'' come out on top I'm sure the Shelby will be 2nd.

@Bravo12RX nope gt500 will most likely kill to zl1 because of the huge upgrade that the gt500 got so i really dont know but i know my money is on the gt500
